TAG Heuer Monaco X Porsche Club Of America: Collaboration Of Two Icons

TAG Heuer Monaco

It makes perfect sense then that the Porsche Club of America would team up with TAG Heuer to produce a limited edition Tag Heuer Monaco in celebration of the club's 55 years in existence.

The PCA has more than 100,000 members and is actually the largest single-marque car club in the world. This specialized Tag Heuer Monaco, inspired by McQueen's of course, features red and black rally strips on the dial along with a circled "55" to commorate the year the PCA launched AND its 55th anniversary. On the back of the watch, the PCA logo is engraved into the sapphire exhibition back.

Only 55 of these watches will be made, and you must submit your PCA number when ordering. The cost is $5,500 and more details may be found here.

Omega Seamaster Soccer timer

Ooh! I definitely like that! Nice!

The world of watches, like the world of soccer, is as international as it gets. Today, we will be showing you a soccer-themed swiss watch. And it's not Maradona's Hublot.

Coming from 1969 is the very rare and Omega Seamaster Soccer timer. It is often referred to as a referee's watch because it features a distinct 45 minute timer and bright orange hands. There were a few different versions of the Soccer timer made by Omega, with the most collectable being that with the roulette wheel inner rotating bezel.

This particular model doesn't have that, but it does have a caliber 861 movement inside, which is the same as used in the venerable Speedmaster for many years. So, if you want a watch to keep track of all those games coming up over the next few weeks, you could do no better than this 1969 Omega Seamaster Soccer Timer.

Swiss watches: Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time

Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Self-Winding Steel and Titanium

A clever blend of ruggedness and lightness, technical accomplishments and extreme refinement makes the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Self-Winding Steel and Titanium model the ideal swiss watch for enthusiasts of excellence looking to get away from it all. Equipped with a dual time-zone display powered by mechanical self-winding Calibre 1222, it explores the rich palette of grey shades composed by steel, titanium and leather.

Ever since the launch of the first Overseas in 1996, Vacheron Constantin’s sports line has been constantly enriched with innovative new timepieces. Entirely dedicated to travel as its name implies, the line is based around three best-sellers – Overseas Self-Winding, Overseas Chronograph and Overseas Dual Time – available in steel, gold and steel/titanium versions. Vacheron Constantin is now rounding off the Dual Time range, with its useful complication greatly appreciated by regular travellers, by introducing a steel with a titanium bezel variation.

An extremely light metal that is resistant to corrosion, erosion and fire, titanium was initially used in the fields of aeronautical, aerospace, chemical and medical industries, and more recently in watchmaking, which has chosen it for its contemporary character, its bold and original appearance, as well as for its minimal weight entirely in tune with the needs of technical and sporty Haute Horlogerie.

Delivered with two straps – one in anthracite grey alligator leather and the other in black rubber – the Overseas Dual Time Self-Winding Steel and Titanium is both resolutely sporty and elegantly distinguished swiss watch. It adjusts smoothly to all kinds of situations, whether on golfing greens, at sea, in the mountains or during chic evening occasions.

Swiss watch manufacturers celebrate 200th anniversary of Mexica independence

Swiss Watches, Hublot Big Bang

Hublot is joining the Mexican people in celebrating the 200th anniversary of their independence, with a limited edition King Power (and King Gold) in the national colours, featuring the symbol of the "Bell of Dolores" engraved on the case-back.

Hublot is paying tribute to these early combatants by creating a King Power watch (and a King Gold watch) bearing on its dial the colours of Mexico, and whose case-back watch reproduces an illustration of the famous "Cry of Dolores", symbolised by the bell that sounded the rallying call in 1810.

Legendary swiss watch manufacturer fuels fuel the rebirth of the minute repeater

Ulysse Nardin Jaquemarts Minute Repeater Circus Aventurine

Ulysse Nardin was one of the earliest manufacturers to fuel the rebirth of the minute repeater. The minute repeater was made even more unique through the inclusion of animated figures called Jaquemarts on the dial and to this day, Ulysse Nardin remains the only manufacture in the world to use Jaquemarts on the dial of its minute repeaters.

Ulysse Nardin takes great pride in announcing an additional achievement in time-keeping art: the Circus Aventurine.

A richly animated circus scene decorates a genuine aventurine dial. Each of the six figures is hand-carved in 18 ct gold.

When the minute repeater lever is activated, the monkey begins interfering in the ballgame of the clown; this movement indicates the hour chiming. The trainer with the whip reaches out to the tiger, indicating the quarters. The tiger stretches its paw, indicating the minutes. The bear bows in front of the ballet dancer while the chiming mechanism is activated.

The case is available in 18 ct white gold in a limited edition of 30 pieces Manual wind movement visible through an open back. Water-resistant to 30 m. Sapphire crystals.
